This Privacy Policy explains how Formcast Fitness ("Formcast," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Formcast Fitness mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to this Policy.

Information we collect

Account information — your name and email address, provided when you create an account with email, Google, or Sign in with Apple.
Health & fitness data — with your permission, we read fitness and activity data from Apple HealthKit (such as active and resting energy, exercise minutes, steps, and workouts) to calculate your weekly league score and to personalize targets.
Photos you provide — check-in photos and food photos you choose to capture. Check-in photos are used to generate your AI "future self" previews; food photos are analyzed to estimate calories and macros. These images are processed by our AI provider and stored in your account.
Body metrics & goals — height, age, sex, weight, and the goals and plans you set.
Purchase information — your subscription status and purchase history, provided through Apple and our subscription manager (RevenueCat). We never receive your card or payment details.
Usage & device data — product-interaction events, an app-assigned user identifier, and a device identifier, collected through Firebase Analytics to understand feature usage and improve the App.

We do not collect your precise or coarse location, contacts, browsing history, or search history, and we do not use your data to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

How we use your information

To provide and operate the App's features — future-self previews, workout and diet plans, photo-based calorie logging, weight tracking, and the fitness league.
To authenticate you and maintain your account.
To process your subscription and unlock Pro features.
To analyze aggregate feature usage and improve the App.

Apple HealthKit

Formcast reads activity data from HealthKit only after you grant permission, and only to compute your league score and personalize your experience. In accordance with Apple's requirements, we do not use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in the iOS Settings app, and the App will continue to function without it.

How your information is shared

We share information only with the service providers that make the App work, and only as needed to provide the service:

Google Firebase — authentication, database, file storage, and analytics.
Google (Gemini AI) — to generate future-self previews from your check-in photo and to analyze food photos.
RevenueCat and Apple — to process and validate your subscription.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks.

Your fitness league displays your first name and score to the small group of other athletes in your weekly league. Do not include information you consider private in your display name.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App: open Settings → Delete account. This removes your profile, check-ins, photos, and league data and deletes your authentication record. The action is immediate and irreversible.

Security

Your data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure and protected in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

Formcast Fitness is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices

Revoke HealthKit, Camera, or Photos permissions any time in iOS Settings.
Delete your account and data in-app (Settings → Delete account).
Contact us to request access to or deletion of your data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
